JPGA Golf N' School Program

ALL ABOUT THE GOLF AND SCHOOLS PROGRAM
The Golf N' Schools Program brings the timeless sport of golf directly into classrooms and after-school programs, offering students in grades K-8 an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. By blending hands-on training, engaging activities, and valuable life lessons, the program introduces children to the fundamentals of golf while fostering essential skills such as teamwork, patience, discipline, and confidence.
Our mission is to make golf an accessible and inclusive sport for all students, with a special focus on reaching underrepresented communities. We aim to inspire a new generation of golfers, scholars, and professionals. Students are taught foundational golf skills, including driving, pitching, chipping, and putting, using beginner-friendly equipment like Starting New At Golf (SNAG) tools. This equipment was graciously requested by the Chicago District Golf Association on behalf of JPGA and generously provided by the Kids Golf Foundation.
In addition to learning the mechanics of the game, students explore golf etiquette and gain an introduction to the vast career opportunities within the $102 billion golf industry. From event management and equipment design to professional play and coaching, the program broadens horizons and sparks curiosity about the diverse paths connected to the sport.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors and dedicated mentors, the Golf N' Schools Program cultivates a love for the game while breaking down barriers and creating pathways to success. Every session is designed to leave a lasting impact, whether through fun and interactive games like “Bullseye,” lessons in sportsmanship, or stories about trailblazers who shaped golf history. By bringing golf into students' lives, the program empowers them to thrive both on and off the course.
